John Van Geest Unit, Stamford
The John Van Geest Unit provides care for patients who require rehabilitation, palliative care or have semi-acute medical problems.
The length of stay is dependent on illness or rehabilitation need.
There are twenty single rooms and two twin rooms, all with washing facilities and most have an en-suite toilet. There is also a sitting room with television and radio. A patio and enclosed gardens provides peaceful surroundings for reading or just sitting.
There is a dining area where we like to encourage patients to participate at meal times. This is also a social gathering for patients.
We offer a special kind of individual care to our patients and want your stay with us to be happy and comfortable.
