Department of Sexual Health
The Department of Sexual Health is located in Clinic E - Edith Cavell Hospital. Turn left immediately in front of the main reception desk and proceed into Clinic E.
This dedicated clinic has:
- six consultation/examination rooms
- on site laboratory
- separate waiting area
- discreet sub-wait area
The department offers free testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and other genital problems.
We can also offer advice on Reproductive Sexual Health and dispense emergency contraception.
Any information given to us is treated with the strictest confidence. We have our own computer system and maintain all our own records.

Health advisors are also available in the department.
An HIV Social Worker is available for those who attend the department along with a dedicated HIV Pharmacist.
