Dermatology

The Dermatology department provides a full range of care for patients with disorders of the skin, hair and nails including Acne, Eczema, Psoriasis, Fungal and other infections, Urticaria, Benign skin tumours and Skin cancer.

The department has a Dermatology Nurse Specialist who is able to offer support, information and practical advice for patients, carers and health professionals.

Patch testing for contact dermatitis, Iontophoresis for hyperhidrosis and Narrow Band Ultraviolet Light B for Psoriasis are all available.  Cryotherapy and surgery for skin tumours are also carried out within the department.
