Walking and Cycling
The district hospital is situated an easy ten minute walk from the railway station, Queensgate shopping centre and bus station on the A1179 across the Crescent Bridge. It is well signposted from these locations.
The city centre is well served by a growing number of cyclepaths from most areas of the city.
There are bicycle racks located at the front of the main entrance, the outpatients entrance, near the genito-urinary medicine clinic and a covered rack at the post graduate medical education centre. There is also a rack in the maternity unit car park.
