Stamford Hospital Consultation

Peterborough & Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust currently manages Stamford Hospital.

The Hospitals Trust, Lincolnshire Teaching Primary Care Trust and the Welland Group of GPs are considering a new approach to managing Stamford Hospital and want to gain the public's views as part of this process.

To gather the views of the public, a formal consultation ran from 23 March 2007 - 22 June 2007, inviting the public to cast their vote by completing a consultation document.

If the local community agrees that the proposal for changing the management of Stamford Hospital should be pursued the results of this consultation exercise will be an important consideration in any agreements entered into between Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Trust and the local GPs.

The votes will be independently collated and analysed in July and the results will be published in August.
