Concessionary Tickets

We can assist patients and visitors in respect of car parking in the event of:

  • patients who are required to come to the hospital on a regular basis for treatment which will exceed four hours (by regular, this means at least once a week for four consecutive weeks)
  • visitors coming to see relatives in hospital on a regular basis when the patient has been in hospital for more than two weeks
  • parents of children in the Neonatal unit, children’s ward or family relatives of patients on the intensive care unit

Temporary tickets enable visitors to park for a maximum of seven days, reducing the normal maximum charge of £70 to only £2.  Tickets are issued by ward staff and are only valid when displayed with a two-hour ticket purchased from the pay and display machine.
